We have launched CDM Competence Ltd to ensure the process of becoming CDM compliant is quick, easy and straightforward, addressing common misconceptions of health and safety within the industry as complex and cumbersome.

One of our key objectives is to help improve the construction industry by providing a straightforward approach to obtaining CDM certification, as a higher volume of certified professionals will improve health and safety practice overall.

  • Step 1 - To assist the Construction Industry become/prove competence as required by law.

  • Step 2 - To keep Members competent and up to date with issues relating to Construction, Design, Management, Construction Law and Health and Safety.

  • Step 3 - Protect members from legal action against them, and from fines by the HSE.

We have adopted a consultancy based service to assist you in becoming compliant, and once certified you are placed on our Competence directory for free. The directory is used industry wide to source and check competent companies and individuals - it is the only directory of its kind in the UK today and can ultimately help you to gain more work.

Our service is bespoke and designed around your requirements - we work with you to become compliant in accordance with the core criteria as set out by the HSE - by assessing in the first instance and then advising on any necessary requirements. If you are not currently compliant in any way, CDM Competence Ltd can guide you through the whole process, whilst providing you with systems and procedures to use.
