1. Each company/individual on the CDM Competence List will benefit from/receive:-
• A quick and easy way for you to prove your competence to all in future (so you can comply with Regulation 4 CDM)
• Continuous free consultancy and assistance
• Bi-monthly newsletter emailed to all employees
• Free helpline for all employees to utilise
• Certificate to certify that you are CDM Competent each year
• Use of logo on company literature to show you are CDM competent, a link through from your website through to CDM Competence List, which will show you consider Health and Safety as priority
• CDM Competence List is used as marketing tool to generate new leads
2. Once you are on the list there will be an annual review of your company. In order to do this we will require each company/individual to declare any changes that have occurred, in connection to Health and Safety.
3. Once you are on the list after the first year there is an annual fee of £200 to remain on the list.
4. All companies/individuals that are on the list are to comply and implement systems and procedures as issued/agreed during the approval process.
5. By being on the CDM Competence List companies/individuals are agreeing to give high regard to health and safety within their practice.
6. CDM Competence Ltd may perform small company Health and Safety Audits to any company/individual that is on the CDM Competence List. This is to ensure that the List is a true reflection of competence Companies / individuals.
7. We will randomly pick companies off list to perform audits on, please note that these audits will be undertaken in line with the ethos of the company, that is with an aim to assist rather than judge. If any items are picked up on audits we will assist companies/individuals back to compliance for no extra charge.
8. The audits will check that the systems and procedures that have been approved are being implemented and complied with within your company.
9. At least two weeks’ notice will be given to any company/individual whom is to be audited.
10. If company/individual situation changes once on the list, it is the duty of company/individual to inform CDM Competence Ltd, so that data can be kept up to date.
